Registered interns and Provisional Licensees under 491:  YOU MUST COMPLETE AN 8 HOUR LAWS & RULES COURSE TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR LICENSURE. You may take this course once you have completed your graduate degree.  You do not have to have your clinical hours completed prior to completing this course.  

 

Licensed 491 professionals may also take this course for 8 Continuing Education credits and to be updated on the Florida Laws and Rules.

Donna M. Ross, LCSW provides clinical supervision for registered interns under Chapter 491.  She is also a certified heart-centered hypnotherapist.  An active member of the National Association of Social Workers, Donna is past Chair of the Palm Beach Unit, Florida Chapter.  She is a well known presenter throughout Palm Beach, Broward and Dade counties.   Donna can be reached at P.O. Linda G. Kartell, LCSW has a private practice in West Palm Beach, Florida. She has more than twenty-two years of experience in direct service, clinical supervision and consultation. Linda has delivered seminars and workshops throughout the United States to thousands of people receiving and providing services. Attendance and CE Policy: These workshops are open to all professionals interested in the topic.  8 CEU's will be provided to LCSW, LMFT, & LMHC.  Participants must sign in, fully attend the entire workshop and complete an evaluation form to be awarded a certificate.  

 

Fee: Early registration at least 10 days prior to workshop - $150.  Regular registration - $175.

 

INCLUDES: BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND ALL PRINTED MATERIALS.

 

Cancellation, Refund, & Transfer Policy:  Cancellation must be in writing and be postmarked at least 10 days in advance of the beginning of the program to receive a refund minus a $50 administration fee.  There will be no refund for cancellations made after this 10 day deadline.   Instead of canceling, if space is available in another workshop, transfer of registration fee already paid can be made for an additional $25.

Transfer of a paid registration to an alternate attendee will be permitted for a $25 transfer fee.

Donna M. Ross, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a certified hypnotherapist.  Her areas of expertise include: family conflict, depression, trauma issues, relationships and grief-loss.

 

An active member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), Donna is past Chair of the Palm Beach Unit, Florida Chapter.  In 2001, Donna was named Social Worker of the Year by the Palm Beach Unit of NASW.  Donna is a member of the Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy Association.  The American College of Forensic Counselors awarded Donna Diplomate status as a Clinically Certified Forensic Counselor in March, 2001.

 

Donna has been approved by the Florida Department of Health to teach the Florida Laws & Rules to mental health professionals seeking initial & renewal of licensure under Florida Chapter 491. In addition, Donna is approved to provide clinical supervision to Registered Interns seeking licensure and to teach continuing education to Chapter 491 licensees. Ms. Ross has conducted workshops throughout the area on a wide range of topics and has been invited to present for the Palm Beach Unit of NASW, Barry University's Annual Alumni Conference, The Association for the Advancement of Social Work with Groups Annual Conference, the South Florida Conference on Children and Adolescents, and the Mental Health Association. Several local agencies invite Donna to provide in-house training for their staff.

 

Donna provides group and individual psychotherapy for women who have experienced domestic violence, and has facilitated groups for children in schools throughout Broward and Palm Beach County.
